While those of you reading my new paranormal romance series, Residue, are noticing that Maggie and Eran are playing greater and more impactful roles in it, we haven't seen the last of them!
As it turns out, I'm not quite done with the Guardian Trilogy story yet. So, after this new Residue Series is finished (which will be within the next few months), I'll be releasing a story about Maggie and Eran's seventeen-year-old daughter falling in love with a very unlikely hero. Their love is just as beautiful and devastatingly challenging as Maggie and Eran's has been. Just wanted to share the news with you! Hope you find this exciting!

Hatfields & McCoys
Shame on me for not posting this sooner. I've just had my head down working on the second book in the Residue Series - which is coming along perfectly, by the way. But for those of you interested, the History Channel is showing a mini-series on America's most legendary family feud between the Hatfields and McCoys. I actually researched this feud before writing Residue, which of course involves two legendary, feuding families. A short article was posted on People about the mini-series and apparently the first night of airing beat the ratings record for cable. You can check it out here: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20599572,00.html

Details on the Next Series
Some of you have asked for details on my next series, which I apologize for not releasing sooner. For those interested here is the scoop on Residue (expected to be released mid-April):
When sixteen-year-old Jocelyn Weatherford is wisked away from a prepartory academy in upstate New York to live with her extended family in New Orleans, she is unprepared to encounter the threats awaiting her. Yet even as she is thrust into an unfamiliar world of witches and voodoo magic, the greatest threat of all may be the boy she's fallen for. While handsome and charming, he is also a Caldwell...a member of the family the Weatherford's have been feuding for centuries. Jocelyn is about to learn how dangerous a secret love can become...
I'll post on my facebook page when Residue is released!

Thank You!
I just wanted to send out a thank you to all those who have purchased a novel from me. Food, toys, and bedding for cats and dogs were dropped off at the local shelter this weekend as part of the donations collected from the sales of the Guardian Trilogy. I wanted to share with you that you've made a dog or cat a little happier. Thank you!
4 Cup/Stars Review of Fallen and Eternity by Coffee Time Romance!
So, Coffee Times Romance reviewed both Fallen and Eternity of the Guardian Trilogy and the reviewer by the name of Laurie (nice name), gave them each a 4 cup, or 4 star, rating. This means "the book should be at the top of your list" to read. Thank you to Laurie for the wonderful reviews!
For those curious, here is FALLEN's Review:
Fast-paced, the story starts off strong and retains a tight rein on the momentum throughout. Maggie is such a stubborn, likeable girl. Her voice in this tale seems genuine, self-deprecating, and generous. I love her attitude and her unwillingness to take the easy path. This book mixes humor, mystery, and the supernatural into a satisfying blend that should appeal to both young and more mature readers. There are some fine supporting characters as well as, who we learn more about in the next installment. The concepts explored are unique ones. The author tells the story with such smooth execution that I was easily caught up in the action, while retaining a magical sense of wonder, never able to predict the next twist.

And here is ETERNITY's Review:
The strange and compelling world-building begun in the first book is expanded significantly in this second installment. The increased complexity of the relationships certainly keeps this story from ever becoming dull or predictable. Yet, all the added nuances mesh perfectly in the grand scheme of the entire framework. Once again, the author brings us a story that is unstinting in intensity, drama and everlasting love. A world filled with robust characters – some of which are despicable, regardless of the reasons that may have contributed to their downfall. Unfailingly mesmerizing, this series has me hooked; I am looking forward to the third installment.

In debate
So, I have two fantastic young adult paranormal romance series in mind but I'm torn as to which one should be released first. Explaining the plot, characters, exciting twists and turns would take entirely too long. Therefore, I'm going to ask you to take a leap of faith and on very limited information tell me which paranormal bad guys you like best: witches or zombies? Write me at laury@lauryfalter.com!
